There are few places in the world where you feel a connection. This was one for us. We arrived as strangers and left as if we had known the place for some time. André and his charming daughter Emily made us feel so welcome. We explored the town of Pau, local vineyards and experienced the Pyrénées on Le Petit Train d’Artouste. André was very helpful in recommending local restaurants. Clos Mirabel is such a beautiful and tranquil place. We stayed in the Master Bedroom which is spacious and very comfortable. The view from the terrace is stunning. We sat there until dark. Breakfast consisted of cereals, cheeses, breads and delicious local honey. We felt sad to leave however we intend to return in the not-too-distant future. We recommend you visit Clos Mirabel and discover for yourself what a delightful place it is.
